July at Drip Queen Coffee. Summer Is Showing Up in Colorado Springs and So Are We

Celebrating Community and Bringing Everyone Together

Published July 2026 · Colorado Springs, CO · By Drip Queen Coffee

Royals, July is here, and summer in Colorado Springs is doing what it does best — showing up bold, bright, and full of reasons to get outside and celebrate. This month, we are packed with community events, a cold brew subscription that was practically made for summer, two new menu items designed to cool you down in style, real rewards data for our Tumbler Club family, a brand new way to earn with Square Crowns, and everything you need to know about bringing your group to the lounge. Read through all of it. July at Drip Queen Coffee is one for the books.

July Events — Independence, Community, and a Little Mil-Chill

4th of July in Woodland Park — July 4th, 11 AM to 5 PM

Drip Queen Coffee will be in Woodland Park this Independence Day for one of the most beloved community traditions in the Pikes Peak region. The Old Fashioned 4th of July Celebration in Woodland Park is celebrating its 60th year at Memorial Park, 412 N. Park Street, from 11 AM to 5 PM on Saturday, July 4th. This is a completely free event and a true community classic, featuring food, local vendors, live music, watermelon, a dunk tank, and a full afternoon of family-friendly activities in the mountain air at 8,465 feet. The Woodland Park Wind Symphony will perform a patriotic concert at 5:30 PM to close out the day. Note that fireworks have been canceled this year due to Colorado's drought conditions and wildfire concerns, but everything else is moving forward as planned — and the energy of 60 years of community celebration does not need fireworks to burn bright. Come find us there and celebrate the holiday with us before heading home to watch the Colorado Springs fireworks from your porch.

Independence Day Weekend Mil-Chill — July 5th, 2 to 3 PM

The holiday weekend does not end on the 4th. On Sunday, July 5th, we are hosting our Independence Day Weekend edition of the Monthly Military Meetup — and this month we are calling it what it truly is: a Mil-Chill. No agenda. No pressure. Just amazing local military members, veterans, families, and community gathered together at 3230 Centennial Blvd from 2 to 3 PM to decompress, connect, and enjoy great coffee after a weekend of celebrating the country these men and women gave so much to serve. Colorado Springs is home to Fort Carson, Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever Space Force Base, the United States Air Force Academy, and Cheyenne Mountain — one of the most significant military communities in the country. The Mil-Chill is our way of saying thank you with intention. Come as you are. Bring someone who served.

New Menu Items — Cooling Down Has Never Looked This Good

Summer in Colorado Springs calls for something cold, something bold, and something that feels like a celebration in a glass.

Red Tail Lemonade

In tribute to the iconic Red Tail Pilots, we recreated the bomb pop, reimagined as a premium lounge experience. A vibrant blend of house lemonade, red raspberry, and blue curacao layered and served for a striking, flavor-packed summer moment. Tart, sweet, and as Colorado as the 4th of July itself, and bold as the Tuskegee Airmen

DQC Tumbler Club & Square Crowns — Your Loyalty Is Paying Off

To every Royal who has been carrying their 2026 DQC Tumbler since the beginning of the year — here is what your loyalty looks like in real numbers. Our Tumbler Club community has collectively saved over $1K in rewards across the first six months of 2026. That is real money back in the hands of Royals who chose to invest in their coffee ritual, and we could not be prouder of this community for showing up the way you have.

And we are not stopping there. This month, we are launching our Crown's Points program, our brand-new digital rewards program powered by our in-store system. Every visit, every purchase, every cup adds up to rewards you can redeem right at the register. Square Crowns works alongside your Tumbler Club membership, making every trip to Drip Queen Coffee more valuable than the last. Ask our team about enrollment on your next visit, or look for the "Crowns" prompt at checkout — we will walk you through everything.

Royal Crowns is live. Tumbler Club is still earning. Stack your rewards and let your loyalty work for you every single visit.
