We are talking new events, brand-new menu items that have already had the whole team talking, updated café and lounge hours, community service opportunities, a partnership that keeps getting better, a very special teaser for a Mother's Day event you will not want to miss, and so much more. April Events at Drip Queen Coffee — Your Calendar Just Got Full
April at Drip Queen Coffee is anything but quiet, and we planned it that way intentionally. This month, we are hosting two events that reflect exactly who we are as a brand and as a community: one that honors the brave men and women who serve our country, and one that brings together two of the most forward-thinking, high-performance communities in Colorado Springs for another electric gathering. And if that were not enough, we are inviting every Royal to roll up their sleeves with us for a community service opportunity that connects directly to one of Colorado's most iconic natural landmarks. The Military Meetup at Drip Queen Coffee
Colorado Springs is one of the most significant military cities in the entire United States. Fort Carson, Peterson Space Force Base, Schriever Space Force Base, the United States Air Force Academy, and Cheyenne Mountain collectively comprise one of the largest and most diverse military ecosystems in the country, home to tens of thousands of active-duty service members, veterans, and their families. These are people who have sacrificed in ways most of us can scarcely imagine, and they are also some of the most interesting, accomplished, and community-minded individuals you will ever meet. We deeply honor that service, and we believe even more deeply that the best way to do so is to create space for connection.
That is exactly what our Military Meetup is. Starting Friday, April 4th, from 2 PM to 3 PM, we are opening our doors at 3230 Centennial Blvd for an informal, welcoming gathering where local military members and Colorado Springs residents can sit down together, share stories, enjoy great coffee, and be in community. There is no agenda, no presentation, no formality. Just real people, real conversations, and the kind of hospitality that Drip Queen Coffee has always been known for. Whether you are active duty, a veteran, a military family member, or a civilian who wants to express gratitude and hear a story or two, this event was made for you.

Cars & Coffee with Lucid — Round Two
Last month's Coffee and Cars event with Lucid Motors at our Centennial Blvd location was exactly the kind of experience we love creating here. Real energy, real conversations, great coffee, and the chance to experience something extraordinary without ever having to drive to a dealership. The response from our Royals was so enthusiastic that we are bringing it back, and this time, we are making it even better because Lucid Motors is offering a free Drip Queen Coffee drink to every guest who comes in for a test drive.

Great American Cleanup at Garden of the Gods — Sign Up Starting April 6th
If you have ever stood at the base of the sandstone formations at Garden of the Gods and felt that particular combination of awe and gratitude that comes from being in one of Colorado's most extraordinary places, then you already understand why this next initiative matters so much to us. Drip Queen Coffee is proud to be participating in the Great American Cleanup, the nation's largest community improvement program, organized locally by the Fountain Creek Watershed District in collaboration with local governments, nonprofits, and neighborhood volunteers across the entire Pikes Peak region.
The Fountain Creek Watershed District has made an extraordinary commitment to the health of our shared watershed and the natural spaces that make Colorado Springs one of the most beautiful cities in America. Their Great American Cleanup program takes place every spring across more than 15,000 communities nationwide, and right here in the Springs, the program has removed over 150 tons of trash from local waterways and open spaces over the past decade alone. This is the kind of community investment that Drip Queen Coffee is proud to be part of, because we are not just a café and lounge. We are a community anchor, and we believe businesses have a responsibility to show up for the places and people they serve.
Registration for our Garden of the Gods cleanup site opens Sunday, April 6th. Our cleanup will take place on Saturday, May 3rd, from 8 AM to 10 AM, and all supplies, including trash bags and gloves, will be provided. All we ask is that you bring your energy, your heart, and closed-toe shoes. A supervising adult must accompany participants under 16. New Café & Lounge Hours — What You Need to Know
Starting this month, we are making an important update to our Café and Lounge schedule, and we want to make sure every Royal has this information clearly before planning their next visit. Beginning in April 2026, Drip Queen Coffee will be closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This change allows our team to rest, reset, and continue showing up for our Royals, Wednesday through Sunday, with the same level of care and craft you have come to expect from us. The quality of your experience at Drip Queen Coffee is our highest priority, and giving our people the time and space to recharge is a direct investment in that quality.
We remain committed to maintaining the warm, elevated atmosphere of our Café and Lounge during our open days, and our team will be ready to welcome you from Wednesday through Sunday. We encourage you to plan your visits accordingly, and as always, keep an eye on our social media and website for any updates or special hours around holidays and events.
