Five Years Strong & Six Months at Our New Home! We Are Celebrating

Five years. When we first opened the doors of Drip Queen Coffee, we had a vision: to create a space in Colorado Springs that could reach internationally, where every single person who walked in felt like royalty. Not the kind of royalty that requires a crown or a throne, but the kind that comes from being truly seen, welcomed, and served something exceptional. Five years later, that vision has become a living, breathing community, and we are not done growing. A fifth anniversary in the independent coffee industry is not a small thing. According to the Specialty Coffee Association, the independent coffee market in the United States remains one of the most competitive retail categories in the country, with thousands of new shops opening and closing each year. The fact that Drip Queen Coffee is not only standing but thriving, expanding, and serving more Royals than ever before is a testament to every single one of you who has chosen to spend your mornings, study sessions, date nights, and celebrations with us.

And the celebration doubles this month, because it has been six incredible months since we opened our doors at our new location at 3230 Centennial Boulevard in Colorado Springs. Those first weeks at the new address were electric. New faces, familiar faces, and the kind of energy that reminded us why we started in the first place. Our Centennial Boulevard home has quickly become a landmark for coffee lovers across the Pikes Peak region, and we could not be more proud to be rooted right here in this community. Six months of memories, of food crafted with intention, of conversations that stretched long past the last sip, and of a team that shows up every single day with passion and purpose.

Coffee & Cars with Lucid... The Most Electrifying Event of March

Something extraordinary is happening at Drip Queen Coffee this month. If you are at all curious about the future of transportation, luxury, or love the intersection of great coffee and unforgettable experiences, you do not want to miss it. We are beyond thrilled to announce our official partnership with Lucid Motors, one of the most celebrated names in the electric vehicle industry, for a one-of-a-kind event right here at our Centennial Boulevard location.

Lucid Motors, has earned a reputation as one of the most innovative companies in the automotive world. The Drip Queen Events Calendar Is Filling Up Fast

One of the most exciting things happening at Drip Queen Coffee right now is that our events calendar is absolutely stacking up with incredible opportunities for our Royals to find us out in the community. We are committed to showing up wherever Colorado Springs and Southern Colorado are celebrating life, culture, and joy, and 2026 is shaping up to be our biggest year yet. This June, we are proud to be a part of the Southern Colorado Juneteenth Festival, one of the most powerful and beloved community events in the entire Pikes Peak region. Now in its sixth year, the festival takes place June 20th and 21st at the Norris Penrose Indoor Event Center, 1045 Lower Gold Camp Road, in Colorado Springs. This is a free, multi-day celebration of emancipation, freedom, culture, and community, featuring national artist headliners, local step show talent, a car show, a fashion show, and endless activities for all ages. The Southern Colorado Juneteenth Festival draws thousands of attendees from across the region each year, and we could not be more honored to serve our community alongside this meaningful event. Just before Independence Day, Drip Queen Coffee will also be in Woodland Park, Colorado, a charming mountain city nestled among 1 million acres of Pike National Forest, with breathtaking views of Pikes Peak. Our Woodland Park 4th of July appearance is a celebration of community, summer, and the incredible Pikes Peak region we call home. Woodland Park's annual 4th of July festivities include live music from the Woodland Park Wind Symphony, food vendors, a beer garden, family activities, and fireworks that light up the mountain sky. We will be right there in the heart of it, brewing and pouring for every patriot in the crowd.

And we would be doing our Royals a disservice if we did not mention the most talked-about concert coming to Colorado Springs in years. Bruno Mars is bringing his debut headline stadium tour, "The Romantic Tour," to Falcon Stadium at the United States Air Force Academy on September 26th and 27th, 2026, and serving our award-winning coffee!

This is Bruno Mars's first full headlining stadium tour in nearly a decade, and it is expected to be one of the most significant events ever held at Falcon Stadium, which has almost 40,000 people. Joining Mars on the Colorado Springs dates is Anderson.Paak performing as DJ Pee.Wee, and RAYE. For Colorado Springs residents, this is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to see a global superstar right here at home, without the drive to Denver. Keep an eye on our social media—we have something exciting planned for our Royals around this event.

We are also incredibly excited to be part of La Vida, the Colorado Springs Hispanic Chamber of Commerce's signature summer soiree. Scheduled for August 22nd, 2026, at the Country Club of Colorado at Cheyenne Mountain Resort, La Vida is the largest Hispanic business event in Southern Colorado, drawing over 700 guests for a Latin-inspired cultural experience that celebrates the flavors, music, and heritage of the Americas. Attendees enjoy live Mariachi, salsa, Tango, and Flamenco performances, food and beverage tastings representing Puerto Rico, Cuba, Peru, Argentina, El Salvador, Honduras, Spain, Mexico, and more, plus a VIP lounge featuring prominent Hispanic community guests.
