Drip Queen Coffee Proudly Supports the 15th Annual Be Ovary Aware Event
At Drip Queen Coffee, we believe in more than just serving up delicious brews; we believe in making a difference. This past weekend, we had the honor of vendoring at the 15th Annual Be Ovary Aware 5K Run and 3K Walk, an event that holds a special place in our hearts.
Raising Awareness, One Cup at a Time
The Be Ovary Aware event is not just any run or walk. It's a movement. A movement to raise awareness for ovarian cancer and support Colorado women battling seven different types of gynecologic cancers: Ovarian, fallopian tube, uterine/endometrial, cervical, vaginal, vulvar, and peritoneal cancers. Every step taken, every dollar raised, goes towards a noble cause - the Sue Gift - Gynecologic Cancer Support. This program is a beacon of hope, ensuring every woman gets her best chance at survival, irrespective of her economic or social background.
Warm Hearts with Hot Coffee
The chilly morning air was filled with determination, hope, and the rich aroma of Drip Queen Coffee. As participants geared up for the run and walk, we were there to warm their spirits with our signature hot coffee. And to our delight (and a bit of surprise), we sold out! It was heartwarming to see so many individuals come together for the cause and to share in the simple pleasure of a good cup of coffee.
The Talk of the Event: Really Zonka Cold Brew Coffee
While our hot coffee was a hit, the star of our stall was undoubtedly the Really Zonka Cold Brew Coffee. Participants and attendees alike couldn't get enough of its refreshing and smooth taste. It was the perfect post-run treat, and we were thrilled to see it being enjoyed by so many.
Gratitude in Every Sip
Being a part of the 15th Annual Be Ovary Aware event was more than just an opportunity to serve coffee. It was a chance to be a part of a community, to stand in solidarity with brave women battling gynecologic cancers, and to contribute in our own small way. We are deeply honored and grateful for the experience.
